We wanted to create a warm and homely atmosphere. That's why we decided to open a restaurant in our own home and welcome you.

We use emotions as a guideline throughout our menu. The menu is fully based on local products and wild ingredients that we forage ourselves.
Menu
Francine offers a 20-course tasting menu that moves from darkness to light, mirroring the emotional spectrum of being human. The dishes evolve slowly, like the growth of a tree — from introspective, earthy notes to bright, airy ones. The journey is crafted with local, seasonal ingredients, supporting small producers and using fruits, leaves, herbs, and plants that we forage ourselves.

Francine is a living room restaurant born in our dining room, shaped by two lives that travelled far from home to find each other in a tiny Norwegian village. A place that has deeply impacted our lives and where we discovered our love for nature and the ingredients it yields.
